Tabitha
Veterinary Technician

Tabitha joined Royal Vet in June 2020. We are excited as Tabitha is finishing her last year of veterinary technician in Ridgetown this year. She will be working part-time throughout the year and returning once her education is complete. Good luck Tabitha!!!

She has always had a love for all animals large and small so in 2019 Tabitha started her journey towards becoming a registered veterinary technician. Currently about to start her second year at University of Guelph, Ridgetown campus, her passion for caring for animals has only grown.

Tabitha has two rag doll cats, Tonka and Daisy. As well as the newest addition, Boomba! Who despite being 115 pounds, thinks he’s a lap dog and will lick anyone who lets him.

When she’s not at work, you can find Tabitha enjoying time outside with her animals, boyfriend and family.

Melissa
Veterinary Assistant

I have always had a passion for animals and have always wanted to help and care for them. I eventually made the career change and achieved my animal assistant certificate. I have been volunteering at the SPCA for 2 years, both in the spay/neuter clinic and participating in their fostering program. I have a border collie/shepherd cross named Anna and a tabby cat named Baxter. My pets are my family and I pride myself in treating everyone else’s furry, feathered, or scaled family members with the same love and compassion I treat my own!
